I'm not planning to bring any keyboards this time but dose anyone want me to bring the harp?
It will need some form of midi device to play through if so.

    Jim,

I'll be bringing two of these along for the weekend (if they arrive in time) - my stock of other kit got installed and sold so I wanted to test these anyway, perhaps you could give me your home address via PM and I'll get them sent to you instead ?

Anyway, they mount on a "pole" (scaff pipe, whathave you) so I'm still not sure how we are going to do this.. but I'll have enough kit to deploy a fast PTP link.

Let me know if you think I'm wasting my time or not.

    Cheers buddy,

    N.

Erm? I have no pole'age to put them on Nige, I see they look like dishes so are going to be very line of sight so I don't think they will work in this app. It's only about 1300meters to my house but you can't see either from either.
It would need some sort of omnidirectional set up I reckon.

Jim. Can't we approach one of the neighbours to the hall and slip 'em a few quid to use their broadband for the weekend?

I'm sure folks wouldn't mind popping a few quid in a pot if it means a reliable connection for the weekend.

On another note, have you informed Plod?

    Cheers

    Jem

    Que pole jokes.

Poles no prob. I have lots plus a huge one !

I was under the impression there was Los or at least near line of. I could make one end (your end) an omni. It would prob work...

Jem's neighbor idea is good but I don't recall being able to see any neighboring aps in hall. Although I could repeat one into les hallage.

If people don't mind paying a bit I could prob sort a bonded hsdpa link on a dirty high gain antennas.

OR. I could just forget about it and lase..

I wouldn't want to ask Jem to be honest.
