Hi all,
Is there a way of measuring the current that is being output by a flexmod P3 whilst the diode is in place?
Cheers

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
No. I was wanting to find a way of measuring it without disconnecting anything, if possible.
I remember reading somewhere that some drivers had test pads over a resister (1 ohm I think). By measuring the voltage it would give you the current.
Not sure if this is correct or indeed possible on the P3 but figured I'd ask. If not I will have to disconnect the circuit somewhere.

...Well, there is this particular hard-to-miss resistor on the P3...I remember reading somewhere that some drivers had test pads over a resister (1 ohm I think). By measuring the voltage it would give you the current.

In an attempt to be somewhat more helpful...
iirc the value is 0,2 Ohm, therefore multiply voltage by 5 to obtain current.
1mV => 5mA
100mV => 500mA
Thanks Bart, I will give it a go measuring the voltage across the large black resistor
Cheers
