Yeah.. I thought about a false positive so I tried some other computers with other types
    of protection installed.

I tried to download "Lightspeed" on another desktop computer running Kaspersky antivirus and
it flagged it as well. Spybot also flagged it before it was deleted on a laptop with no anti-virus.
I have Screen shots if that would help.

BTW.... what does the R10 pot do on the X4 PCB ????

Trogan.generic in this case is definitely a false positive. We'll repackage the software soon to get rid of it.

Should be another week. However, we'll be away next week at SHOT Show.
Shipping operations will still commence as usual but support responses will be delayed.

I just updated my Avast Anti-Virus Software and Definitions to the latest
    update versions.

I still can't download your "lightspeed" software off your website. I found
a Google advisory stating that there had been some Malware associated
with your site in the past 90 days. Not really sure what all that means but
I've attached a SS of what it said a few weeks ago.

I've also attached a few Screen Shots of Avast and Spybot on another
non Avast protected computer flagging yoursite/software. Maybe the SS
will help you pinpoint the problem...

We've uploaded a new binary to the website, please check and see if it still triggers the false positive.
Should be a good now: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/c...5317/analysis/
We've also communicated with google about the website warning. It should be resolved but Google is prone to take a while.

There are no user serviceable parts in the X4, but as it's a budget hobbyist meter, we can see the desire to tinker
The pot is for contrast adjustment on the LCD.

Sorry for the late reply... been out of town.
We just tried to download "lightspeed" from your site again.
Good news.. It down loaded without any flagging as Malware.
Thanks for fixing that downloadable copy of "lightspeed".

I hope that any users without anti-virus protection haven't
downloaded a perhaps possible hiding trojan.

As to the POT... We normally don't tinker with products until
we know what the controls actually do.

It was a false positive. There's no virus.

I've had virus scanners flag my copy of Pangolin quickshow as a trojan. False positives are not uncommon.

I'v had this product for around two - two and a half months now and its been working like a charm The software itself downloaded just fine and does not give a false-positive. Although i think that the reason for it not downloading for Laserbee was that the AV was blocking the download. (this is just an assumption)
