Certainly there are exceptions, but my experiences with off shore laser suppliers have generally been bad.
For me, if it doesn't come from a US distributor, I won't buy it. Last (and I mean LAST) go around had to do with a missing cable. Vendor insisted I return the laser at my expense- refused to send the needed cable. Time before that, a red laser was defective- promised to send replacement, but again ended up insisting I return the ENTIRE RGB unit right after the "seller protection" window closed.
Easy for them to say, as I suspect the PRC subsidizes postage to the US- (free shipping). Returning an RGB on a heavy base plate can cost almost as much as the laser.
    Just sayin'

There are two predominate Chinese vendors selling RGB "bundles" as well as individual lasers on fleabay. Make no mistake, they are the same company, in spite of what they call themselves. If you buy from either seller, your pay pal payment will go to the same account. Just look for 3 watt RGB laser (analogo). Reluctant to name names- folks have been kicked off fleabay for less.

There is another vendor based in Austrailia who is drop shipping 638 diodes from China. There was no mention of the origin- when laser proved to be defective it took a month and numerous complaints to 'bay and PP to get them to agree to refund.

Just visited Able's website again. Still no mention of RGB modules, just finished disco'jectors. Also no listed product uses 520 diodes- everything is 532 DPSS.

And... no follow up from entertainment with pictures, specs, pricing, or even a "Hey you dumb American, we know what we're doing" response.
