Yeah, this looks safe to be marketed to the general public.

Did you notice the Artist list on the Indigogo campaign?
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
Is it OpenSource? That make it worth it...

"The LaserDock contains a 1-Watt RGB laser projector. It's pure-diode lasers can create millions of colors and is powerful enough for large homes. It's all you need besides a Mac, PC, or Android device. "
Does this mean it's analog?? If so would this actually be worth picking up? More specs below.

1/2 way down the page:
Under music visualizer from Wicked Lasers there's a whole list of ILDA graphic artists giving the impression (at least to me) they are associated with the program (I wonder if they were all asked / approved the device / software):

Well for what it's worth I will be supporting the LaserDock in my program LasershowGen. Hope to roll out support in time for when the LaserDock officially ships.
But on a semi-related note, I haven't properly anything yet, but I will actually be releasing a fully open source DAC myself within a month or two: https://github.com/Grix/helios_dac
I think I will be able to slightly beat the price and specs of the LaserDock dongle. But it doesn't have built-in audio visualizer or anything. So I'm having mixed feelings, the LaserDock does admittedly look like a good deal if it works well, but WL seems to have beaten me to the punch!![]()
