One question, could the driver let me run Mamba, fooling it into thinking its a easylase? I dont have Mamba black, just a registered pre dongle copy of plain ole Mamba. It was boring with just the par port dac.
Steve
This is damn interesting... I have a registered copy of Mamba Black (with the dongle) and it most certainly supports the Easylase DAC. Sure would be cool to see it running on a USB sound card though. I think I just found another project for me! (Damn - like I needed another iron in the fire right now!)
Good work drlava... Damn shame you can't make it to SELEM - would be great to see you demonstrate this in person!

One thing: be sure that all of the audio effects, equalizers, fake surround, HTRF, etc are turned OFF. it's comical to see how just a small tweak of one of these totally distorts the image, and to think that some people prefer the sound of music distorted that way!

I'll bring the USB widget to SELEM.
Steve
Cool! Thanks Steve! I'll bring my copy of Mamba Black and the dongle.

It looks like there will be more than one DC modified sound card at SELEM.
YEAH!

I still have one 10$ 5 channel card from developmental days that is easy to hack and known to work with laserboy, it just became 2nd prize in the contest.
now if I can find a programmer to hack the wonderful sound card DLL into LFIplayer..... http://sourceforge.net/projects/lfiplayer3d, the world could be a better place, and it would also give all those annoying club DJ type laserist wannabes a better tool, forcing them to actually keyboard sync shows to music etc...
40 live hotkeys
Hummm..........

It would also be nice to have a little pc board that could be bought that does the dc offset and amplification. I'd buy one one.
