Sweet - that laser ionics is one big bad MF gotta be 10-15W out of that if not more
The 168 should do a good 5W but note the edited image - this is the sticker with the model no. on it and will give some idea of expected output

According to the manual I have 168-46 is a single line tem00 laser.
There is a list of wavelengths and powers that it should output so maybe if it does work you wanna try and get some multiline optics.

Powers listed obviously depend on the optics fitted
    514 - 800mW
    488 - 700mW

Ok so I guess the list I have refers to the power of each wavelength as slected on the prism. Like I said if it does work a set of mulitline optics and the prism removed may be the best way to go - you should achieve a 4-5W with multiline optics without too much trouble as long as its not too tired

shoot me a pic of the back of the 265s, so I can see if its got the medical mods, especially where the umbilicals go into the PSU.

Are you sure its 2 seperate 265s and not 1 265 with a crossover relay plus a spare 265?

Most often medical twins on sleds had one 265, because they only need either blue/green or red, but never both at the same time.

also more pics of the laser ionics PSUs, because so far I cant tell if you have the needed external buck/boost transformer. Not that it would be a problem, I have a pile of coherent BBTs.

Ok more staring at the piling system shows a older ionics buckboost in the chintzy silver medical case. Been 10 years since I saw one of those. I may still have the schematics, and I'm sure I have the operators manual. I'd start with the 164, as theya re much more reliable and odds are its still aligned. Ionics are hard to align and have loose resonators that drift, which is why you see the tape on the end plate.

whats the number on the sticker on SP tube itself ? It should be 070-X, where X is a number. We can tell you what model it is from the tube number. there are about 20 different possible numbers.
