Default Uk Travelling Party ILDA Amsterdam

Noticed the ILDA conference is being held in amsterdam ..you dont have to be a ILDA member to attend ! and from the itinerys i have seen at past conferences this looks like a must attend event due to the high quality of kit in use and the submeetings etc that you can attend . I am not a member but the thought of seeing some proffesional shows has got to make it worth the trip as well as the technical and safety meetings !

Is there anyone else from Uk who is seriously considering going as it would be great for us all to attempt to end up in same hotel and or share travelling for those going by ferry ......

I will keep an ongoing tally here ....

    Prioritising Going
    Paul - Lasermad ( likely flying )
    Karl - Banthai

    .................................................. ..............................

I would say ..LETS GET BEHIND THIS AND HAVE A PARTY !
Lets get EVERY ONE OF US OVER THERE !
Have Coherance in your thoughts and LETS DO IT !

I've mentioned to Karl that I may like to go, only thing is i'm not too keen on driving. Flying direct to amsterdam may be a better option for me. Other option is that if a few were going and someone was passing that could pick me up i'd be more than happy to share fuel costs etc.

Put me in the maybe catagory for now and i'll update later. I reckon this meeting wil be a particularly good one

    Cheers

Are these meetings accesable for NONmembers.

Where can i find more info? I can't find the info on the ILDA site.
Are there entre tickets and what would it cost to attend?? etc
    Maybe some venue info?

    Thank you

Isn't Amsterdam famous for it's cakes?
    And beer.
And lovely ladies (available by the hour).

Sounds like Paul needs to hire a minibus and collect peeps all the way down the UK and over to the meet.
You know, like they had in The Italian Job.
Call it The Amsterdam Job and you even have a theme !
