yes i do , i found one unit that was not running TMoo and had a same beam profile as yours, the laser head and controller have matched #s but i tried swapping the controller and the laser head then ran a nice TMoo, so there could be issues with the controller ...

A TEC temperature adjustment might fix it if we knew which pots did what. Mine runs TEM01 for about the first 20 seconds then pops into TEM00 when the temps get settled, and stays there. So by swapping the controller you are basically just changing the crystal temperature setpoint.

Yeah, the PSU and head do not match on my system. Could be the whole problem right there..

d00d Evil! You don't even need a lumia wheel.. It's built right in!! That's worth double..

I have some of these and noticed there are 2 different versions of the LD/TEC driver, Ver 4.0 and 5.0.
Its interesting that on the Ver 4.0 driver, there are only 3 potentiometers, whereas on Ver 5.0 there are 5. I think the 3 pots on Ver 4.0 are for LD current, LD temp. and doubler temp, with the pot on the bottom left controlling diode current. Seems this way as when I fiddle with this pot I can adjust output power. But not really certain I attached some pics of the 2 different versions.

On sam's laser faq's there is an identical driver board used to power a green laser. This driver is Ver 5.0.

Also, the blue lasers need to have that top 'piggy-backed board' to run, but sam's green one does not.

did the pins look bent like this?

Nice photos. Can you take some with more detail of the inside, so the wires are traceable?
