    Free is good.

I have keys to the print shop I mentioned. As long as I scheduled time on the press (afterhours) the only cost would be the shirts.

I'm not trying to steer the discussion, just keeping options open.

Really? Thread-count? 'Density'? I dunno, DSLI's logo shares some 'similarities' (...hah, imagine that.. with the beam-fans, etc, and it embroiders just fine...

    What about these:

..the 'all-black core' reads-best... but the first one does the 'RGB > white > scans'-thing, better...thoughts on 'embroiderabilty'?

The problem with embroidery is that it's difficult to get "filled" areas of color. Outlines are fine, but solid blocks of color are not. Remember too that we're getting this done for free, so we don't want to come up with a pattern that has 8 different colors in it. (Each color means a thread-change on the machine.)

Jon, your last logo (with the outlined letters) looks pretty good. I think that one will work out fine in embroidery. The other designs with the solid letters wouldn't work though.

    Wow!

I think that's a really cool design, stunning and straight to the point - Congratulations

It would even transform easily into 'uklem'... Now there's an idea

hah, Thanks, m8!... and yeah, I think my Mac can type a "U" and a "K"... ... will give it a whirl...
    cheers...

Here's a 'new one' - found this great little piece of art on one of the 'DIY' forums, (ie: instructables.com, can't remember exactly which one...) ...the original had a skull as-head, and "anarchy" symbol on the chest, but I just thought it was screaming-out to be pirated for 'PL re-purposing'... - so, here 'tis...

..clearly, this would only work as 'silk screen' and the original art is pretty lo-res, so dunno... if not apt for the 't-shirt logo'... maybe a poster??

..just fer kicks... ...off to the salt mines, now...

...hrmm, it kind of 'loses a little majik' - I kinda liked the 'mystery' of the tri-color diode but hey, you guys be the 'judges'.... IF you like (I am not making any *ass*umtions, here.. and ya'll pick it, just lemme know what 'file format' / res is needed (Sir DZ, et al) and I'll 'get er dun', cool? Doing some other artwork tonite,
so I can 'fit it in'... If not, 'tis cool...

...now the only question-is: What kind of bitchin 'lens' is used in that "L"?

Hey Jon, the image you posted is perfect (resolution and file type). If there are no objections, then this is what will be embroidered on the shirts. Speaking of which, I hope everyone who registered for SELEM sent Buffo their shirt size. Jon, are you coming to SELEM? If not, send me your shirt size and I'll make sure you get one.

Cool, just lemme know if it needs any 'mods' at all (ie: filling-in the tiny 'space' between the 'e' and 'm', etc...)
