I have an untested gas intact coherent I-100 K3 with control pad and power supply.
If the power supply ever caught fire I assume it would look something like this

$800, just dont forget the truck you will need to haul this small krypton off
Reason for not testing: when I bought this it had capacitor guts blown on the wall of the inside of the power supply
Its in storage so I found a picture of hhr-lasers.com and snipped it
thats not to far from me actually lol
not the worst substation accident we have had... theres one (man made actually) referred to only as "the event" that cascaded and caused power outages throughout the entire state
and even caused turkey point nuclear to go into a shutdown state... very rare event, requires the NRC to send a team out to supervise restarting it
Thats what worries me.... The wost Ive had happen to me was, I was working on a SP PSU( a small one) the has no bleed off resisters for the caps...so as Im working I hear this popping sound, and thats the sound of them zapping a screw driver, so I took something and hard shorted them, nice flash and bang!!!
Hmm. That thing is huge!!!!!

dooooooo ittttttttttttt
Matt, that thing is a monster. I've seen it in person. It will rival the 171's that Jeff has. If you get it lasing, you're talking at least 10 watts of red, and probably more. (Hell, get it running and then sell it to Jeff! Haha!)
Gonna need 480 V 3 phase to fire it though, and around 9 gallons per minute of water cooling. Plus one hell of a sturdy beam-stop! This thing will burn shit.
Even if the PSU has issues, I'll bet Steve can help you get the parts you need to repair it. The tube itself is gas-intact, so no worries there. But this baby is a heavy son of a bitch, dude, and the head alone is 8 ft long...

Powers not an issue, but wow!!! Thats a lot of water!!!!Also the weight might be a prob, along with the size...,but that is some awesome power!!!
Oh im sure thats not a prob...
But as I think about it,I wonder if it would be easier just to bite the bullet and get a whitelight, like a color pro, or something like that.... Why is this so hard...lol!!
