The one I'm working on at the moment combines 2 banks of 6 through a cube like :::

hey andy what sort of losses do you get with your tele lens setup ??

pretty much 0, they are from edmund optics so are very good quality.

running each diode at 210mw i get 1.2watts out. most of the losses is from knife edging

I must add to this....how do you think KVant gets 2W's or more of 640nm? Was there something they knew that we don't?? Were do They get There parts from ummm I wander

ive got photos of inside kvants, RGBlasers systems and arctos, so i know exactly how they do it

You can do exactly the same thing with only 1 cube and less losses.
In fact I think I described it in my post.

you will give up half way through trying to line up the second set
why do you think even arctos build the same way as andy
and almost everyone else, my builds the same way as andys except i did not need to use a telescope lens
its about setup stability
