    Default Two new sats completed

Bah, I typed a big post here documenting my sat builds, but alas Samsung Kies was being "updated" in the background and the POS rebooted by PC without asking me, so my long post is lost. Your busting my balls Samsung...

Anyways, 2 pretty cheap builds (less than $1000 each) but they do feature all the required safety features.

    Specs:

    300mW 532nm
    400mW 445nm with 12V Meanwell PSU
Shutters I picked up from -bart- during his last cleanout sale, with Freetronics MOSFET driver board (mounted right on the shutter motor)
    PT-20 scanners (thanks Dave!)
    PT-ITRUST DMX/ILDA board
Goldenstar 3D mounts, mirrors and Dichros
Goldenstar enclosure, base plate, exit glass, ILDA cables and flight cases

I plan to mount both my FB3 DAC's in a large die cast case with an E-stop wired to the ILDA interlock loop. I also plan to run both satellite ILDA's back to this box, with both wired in parallel off a single FB3. I plan to fit a reverse switch to flip the X axis of one satellite so that I can do mirror image effects or matching effects, on the fly at the flick of a switch.

Bugger, for some reason I am unable to attach images... I upload them and they show with a red exclamation mark. Is the server full?

Cool beans, I did a similar thing with my ILDA junction box and added a facility to reverse the colours and black out the sats

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

    Hey Wayne, nice job mate

Wow under a $1000 each! That's some killer pseudo argon for the money.

I remember helping my friend with his Omnichrome air cooled argon in the mid 90s and I think it was doing around 200mW. I don't think he had a lot of change left out of $20000 after scanners, dac and software were thrown in.

    Looking good man
