I'm gonna try to fit the argon in the truck with the projector and computer. I may need to find a smaller case for the PC... Yes, before anyone asks... the radiator is already off. I may have to see if I can borrow a bed topper from someone. OR I could strap the bike in!!!

I got a 100mW TTL Maxyz and come 20ks with a DMX board. We can cobble together a lil beam projector with it. Anyone got a spare... 4 channel PCAOM they are not using.

Well, if there are no objections to a caseless, shutterless work-in-progress projector being brought along, I'll show up with the working portion of my RGB rig, along with a laptop and some new toys from Pangolin (I was made an offer I couldn't refuse ).

One good thing about the current "caseless" design of my rig - it's going to be REALLY easy to work on in case someone wants to help this noob get his scanners tuned!!

I also have couple of portable audio mixers, a Chauvet DMX-55 DMX controller, and a lighting tripod with 4 Chauvet LED RGB DMX fixtures. If there's any interest in me bringing any of this, let me know!

i got a pretty serious fogger if we need it.
desktop with full auto (NML. OSLS) and a laptop just in case we need one. the desktop is UUUGLY, but hey, it gets the job done.
Cool Marc! Yeah, please bring the fogger. Between yours and mine we should be just fine. Looking forward to seeing the 3 watt yag!
Also glad to see you'll be bringing your full auto setup. I've got a little experience with it, but it would be fun to see how you run it.

Be sure you've got some spare hard drive space on that laptop for pics & video & stuff...

Sounds good Aaron! Glad to hear you got rid of the radiator... I'm sure we can work out a beam projector somehow. (There's always the mirrored ball don't forget!)

Holy crap! I thought you couldn't make it...? Did they postpone the inspection? Sure would be awesome if you can make it Randy!

Bring it dude. They'll be tuned. In fact, maybe we can get Bill Benner to use your rig for the scanner tuning seminar. That way your scanners will be *perfect*, and we'll all get a good look at it at the same time!

Let's talk about this on the phone. The DMX controller in particular sounds interesting. I already have a mixer, but yours may be a better solution. I'll try to call you later this week.

    Hey, Adam!

No postponement on the inspection - just a little tactical manuevering on my part. I guess 20+ years learning the trade for Uncle Sam is finally starting to pay off

And for the record: I hereby volunteer my work-in-progress RGB rig as the graphic training aid for the scanner tuning seminar

I'm generally reachable daily, 7 AM to 10 PM EST on the same cell phone I called you from last week.

Looking forward to SELEM and all the similarly-minded crazies that will be participating!!

Sometimes a caseless projector is not a bad thing at all... I've just finished building a little remote box to get square with the cdrh requirements. It works great, except for 1 of the LED's on the box, which will require a change in the projector. A very simple change really, 1 piece of wire from a power supply to one of the pins on the db-25 connector... Can you guess why it hasn't been done yet................................

Sorry to hear about you losing your job, that really sucks. I thought you were just moving jobs, sorry I misunderstood

I know you've got other things on your mind right now but PM me, maybe I can help with the funds

    Default Update:

Since I'm definitely attending now, here is what I'm bringing so far:

    -Mobolazer ML10 w/ 3watt Melles Neod:YAG DPSS
    -FB3 Eval
    -Laptop PC
-16ch DMX Light controller (for the Mobo and someday (soon?), for the FB3)

How about tools? I'm trying to minimize since I'm already bringing my laser on the plane... I figured I'd bring my soldering iron/solder, screw driver bit set/handle and some random connectors etc. in case I needed to make some changes to the wiring.
