Generic laser case

if we would be able to get a very good generic case made for us laser enthousiasts, what size would you prefer ?

What design, 2 levels ? Fan holes ?

Have to get some made for a project we are making but if I get 1 made or 10 or 20 it is same

They can also powdercoat them

Did you see the one I had in a small flight case at the UKLEM?

Or... Did you see the ones on the rigging on the stage. They were all cases made by Mark (Insanity) and Simon (Pit8ull). These are very well thought out cases and pretty much come pre-wired.

There's a thread on the forum somewhere about these cases. It might be worth contacting them before re-inventing the wheel .

Yes, I did but as I understood Mark and Simon have only few left and they are planning to use that one.
Again I might understood wrong, the ones I am planning is just a alu base plate drilled every cm in the middle (of the case) and the rest free for others to install (diodes or modules etc.) however they see fit....

But if we get ours (for diodes) made, if the guy cuts and bends 1 or 10 it is going to be almost same price.

I might be interrested in the base plate alone. In our country I've only found them 2m² for 1cm thick, or for a ridiculous price.

Idea is to getting them drilled and tapped, but anodizing is option...

I would be interested if it was an entire case with pre cut holes.
