When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.
Although I know Fiesta have introduced .net on some of their lower boards, I'm not sure Pangolin want to in order to keep seperation between the high end and lower end lines. I had a conversation with Bill about this not long ago.
As there's pretty much nothing touches QS for features even several steps above its price point, you'd be mad to give it up just to get .net especially when there are other ways of adding it as mentioned above.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but having visited another member on here with his .net set up, during my time there I was told that networked lasers do show a visible delay between music and show. So its also a question of snyc vs convenience.
If you really want to request it though, it never hurts, then I suggest you email Bill via his feedback form.

i'm aware of all the methods to run usb over network.. we have/had a ubox 2100 at one point, tried a few "eastern" brands to no avail, but are holding off on the belkin because its bigger than we would like...
Although, no bigger I suppose than a QM.NET...

Nah, nothing wrong with the home network, it's a gigabit wired with Cat6 FTP, so no problems there
I had the QM plugged into the network and was running it wirelessly from my laptop IIRC. As you are aware shows can take a short while to load into the QM, and that is possibly where the confusion arose. Either that or perhaps I ran LivePRO where there is a continuous stream of data flowing between the laptop and the QM, this can show short delays/jumps if run over a poor wireless connection. Interference can also be a problem when running LivePRO over standard home wireless. As you are almost certainly aware, there are much more robust wireless systems used by professionals that don't exhibit this sort of behaviour
