I wondered how you were going to make out. There has seriously been some freak weather up and down the east coast this season and if you had Atlanta to deal with... I'm not surprised at the delay. Regardless, I'm there in spirit. Would have loved to come out but, regrettably a little too much going on this weekend.

I agree a west coast LEM without Dave, the mode hopping green hene was more talked about than the CuBr on the lift! Next time, maybe socalem 2?

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Well shit. Woke up at 3 AM so I would be ready for my 5:25 departure, only to learn that my flight has been delayed 2.5 hours. Fuck...

They're still claiming that I will arrive in Portland around 12:45, but right now I don't believe a word they're saying.

Damn! I still have a few more hours of work to do on some NWLEM stuff before I basically take a nap, hopefully, so I feel your pain. Here's to a nice, peaceful flight!

I was at the venue until 10:30ish last night, should be there between 10 and 11a Fri. Got all my truss set up, and at this point only plan to set up my mobo and a bunch of bounce mirrors. LOTS of space for others to mount. It's 12" box truss (Global F34), so projectors can sit on top of the truss, and I have plenty of O clamps for those with yokes who want to hang from the truss. I meant to take a pic to post here but I forgot. Looking forward to the weekend. Off to bed with me.

Thanks for setting that up! I am also off to bed- at least for a nap.

    See you all soon!

At the venue. I should mention parking is a little tricky. There's a one-hour space out front I'll vacate once I'm done loading in. We can probably Bogart that spot for a while if we coordinate a little.

There are spots on the streets surrounding the block- just make sure you avoid the time-limited parking. Entry is through the front door which is the old ticket counter. It's set up as a little art shop, currently. There's a NWLEM sign inside the glass door you'll notice right away.

    See you all here!

Last minute request: If anyone has a high voltage probe and an oscilloscope, I'd be interested in measuring the pulse rise time on the CuBr's thyratron.
