this whole thing is happening so soon... I cant believe how quickly time has passed!! I gotta figure out my hotel situation

Bad news... the HeCd power supply died again a few days ago... this thing is like a super-hot high maintenance girlfriend.

Good news... with the help of Dr. Lava and Steve 'mixedgas' Roberts, I was able to track down the component causing all the fuss and she's working like a champ again. ONE tiny 33uF tantalum capacitor on a board of probably 100 or so components caused the whole thing to not work...

I cant believe this is in like two weeks.... I still gotta pull those two plasma tubes out of my 165's so I can grab the magnets and anode blocks for lasernerd... It will be good practice for when I work up the courage to transfer the tube out of my 168 into the 165 resonator.

I dont know if I can fit that much gear in my car

1 4ft helium cadmium laser and power supply...
    3 4ft spectra physics argons
    1 265 power supply
    two people

It is a blazer so there will be room, but that's a lot of stuff!! I dont know if it will work, and it would probably be just as easy for me to yank them here. If it comes down to it and I've been too busy to get to them, I'll find a way to pile them in the car

What are you going to do with all the stuff I want you to take back with you, road cases, projector tables, and so forth... I would suggest you bring a trailer

Default Time GooeyGus gets a U-HAUL!

I guess it is time to get a U-HAUL for your lasers! Either that or you need your own cart like this:

At least you won't be driving this rig:

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

    Hi All,

As Pat stated you can add one more too the headcount for PaCoLEM. I will be driving up on the 14th with my wife, if you need an extra set of hands on the 15th let me know.

Shilo Inn will match internet rates like Expedia so the price was right.

Welcome Gary, I understand you are bringing a truck to haul back some of the stuff I will have for sale at PaCoLEM, I have some great road cases and a nice 50 watt KTP laser for sale.
